After clinching a Championship 4 berth with a remarkable win last weekend in Las Vegas, Joey Logano and his Team Penske teammates are shifting focus to the sun-soaked, palm tree-lined Homestead-Miami Speedway for the second-to-last race in the Round of 8 of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. With Sunday’s 400-miler at the 1.5-mile Florida track and next weekend’s showdown at the famed paper clip-shaped Martinsville Speedway, the organization remains in contention to secure a second spot in the Championship 4 as Ryan Blaney and the No. 12 team remain in the mix of the postseason.
Ahead of Sunday’s Straight Talk Wireless 400, drivers hit the track for practice and qualifying early Saturday morning, kicking off on-track activity for the Cup Series to set the lineup for the 267-lap sprint.

TEAM PENSKE AT HOMESTEAD: Team Penske has four total NASCAR national series victories at Homestead-Miami Speedway, including three in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and one in the NASCAR Cup Series. Joey Logano’s first Cup Series title in 2018 was scored at the Florida track as the driver of the No. 22 led 80 laps en route to the victory and coveted series crown. In total, Logano has seven top-10 and four top-five finishes in the Cup Series at Homestead. Through Ryan Blaney’s nine Cup Series starts at the 1.5-mile track, he has best finishes of second and third, claiming the runner-up result in last year’s edition of this race. Sunday’s event will mark just the third start for Austin Cindric at Homestead in his young Cup Series career after finishing 19th in his rookie season in 2022 and 12th in 2023.
TUNE IN ON SUNDAY: Coverage of Sunday’s Straight Talk Wireless 400 from the Sunshine State is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. ET. Viewers can tune in to watch the race live on NBC, with radio coverage available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
