- BELL AT HOMESTEAD: Christopher Bell has some fond memories of racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway including his victory last October. In that race, Bell led 26 laps on the way to victory lane to secure his spot in the Championship 4 for the second consecutive season. In 2017, Bell won the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series championship after finishing second in the race. Overall, he has made 10 NASCAR national series starts at the 1.5-mile oval, including four starts in the NASCAR Cup Series.
- HOT STREAK: Bell has finished seventh or better in 10 of the last 12 races dating back to Indianapolis in July. Over that time, the No. 20 driver’s average finish is 7.6.
- ROUND OF 8 WINS: Bell has won a Round of 8 race in each of the past two seasons. In 2022, he led 150 laps on the way to victory lane at Martinsville Speedway. Last year, Bell won at Homestead-Miami Speedway to secure his spot in the championship race.
- ADAM STEVENS: This marks the eighth time crew chief Adam Stevens has led his team to the Round of 8. Each of the first seven times, including the past two years with Bell, Stevens’ team went on to advance to the Championship 4.
- RHEEM AT HOMESTEAD: Rheem is hosting over 180 guests this weekend in Homestead. Guests are on site from key supplier Watts. Water Heater Division (WHD) guests from Ferguson, Southeast Water Heating Division (WHD), Robertson Supply WHD, Wiseway WHD, along with guests from distributor Gemaire.
- JGR AT HOMESTEAD: Joe Gibbs Racing owns nine NASCAR Cup Series victories at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Bell’s win last fall. In 79 combined starts at the 1.5-mile oval, the organization has tallied 21 top-five finishes, 43 top-10s, six pole awards, and 1,807 laps led. Kyle Busch, Bobby Labonte, and Tony Stewart join Bell and Hamlin on the list of drivers who have taken JGR to victory lane at the South Florida track.
