No. 20 DEWALT Toyota Camry XSE News and Notes:
- BELL AT THE ROVAL: Christopher Bell is one of four drivers who have won on both the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL and the track’s 1.5-mile quad-oval. In 2022, he earned a thrilling playoff victory on the ROVAL that catapulted him into the Round of 8. Earlier this year, Bell won the rain-shortened Coca-Cola 600. Last season at the ROVAL, Bell started second and finished 15th. In addition to his four NASCAR Cup Series starts at the ROVAL, Bell also made two NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at the track, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in 2018.
- TALLADEGA RECAP: The No. 20 team finished sixth in last weekend’s race at Talladega Superspeedway. After starting 21st, Bell earned valuable stage points for finishing fifth in stage one. He hung around the lead pack for the latter half of the race and escaped a multi-car accident on lap 183 virtually unscathed to earn a solid finish.
- PLAYOFFS SO FAR: Bell heads into this weekend’s race ranked second in the playoff standings with a 52-point advantage over the cutline. He leads all drivers with a 7.2-average finishing position through five playoff races.
- HOT STREAK: Bell has finished seventh or better in eight of the last 10 races dating back to Indianapolis in July. Over that time, the No. 20 driver’s average finish is 8.7.

From the Cockpit:
Christopher Bell: “I’m excited about going to the ROVAL with the pressure off because of our points position. This weekend is all about getting ourselves locked in and then having fun and trying to add a few more playoff points if we can to help ourselves in the next round.”
