• BELL AT THE ROVAL: Christopher Bell is one of four drivers who have won on both the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL and the track’s 1.5-mile quad-oval. In 2022, he earned a thrilling playoff victory on the ROVAL that catapulted him into the Round of 8. Earlier this year, Bell won the rain-shortened Coca-Cola 600. Last season at the ROVAL, Bell started second and finished 15^th. In addition to his four NASCAR Cup Series starts at the ROVAL, Bell also made two NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at the track, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in 2018.
• TALLADEGA RECAP: The No. 20 team finished sixth in last weekend’s race at Talladega Superspeedway. After starting 21^st, Bell earned valuable stage points for finishing fifth in stage one. He hung around the lead pack for the latter half of the race and escaped a multi-car accident on lap 183 virtually unscathed to earn a solid finish.
• PLAYOFFS SO FAR: Bell heads into this weekend’s race ranked second in the playoff standings with a 52-point advantage over the cutline. He leads all drivers with a 7.2-average finishing position through five playoff races.
• HOT STREAK: Bell has finished seventh or better in eight of the last 10 races dating back to Indianapolis in July. Over that time, the No. 20 driver’s average finish is 8.7.
