Alex Bowman will lead the field to green in Saturday nights playoff elimination race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Alex Bowman, who will start from pole position leads his fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammates as Hendrick drivers took the top three starting spots.
Kyle Larson will start second, William Byron will start third, Martin Truex Jr. will start fourth and Chase Briscoe will start fifth.
Martin Truex Jr., who qualified fourth, currently sits 14 points below the cutoff line heading into Saturday’s playoff cutoff race and Chase Briscoe, who rounds out the top five currently sits above the cutoff line heading into Saturday night’s race.
Ty Gibbs currently holds the last spot above the cutoff line. Driver No. 54 will start from 13th Saturday night.
Denny Hamlin, who currently sits below the cutoff line by 6 points will start eighth.
Other drivers that head into Saturday night needing a good points night and or win to advance include Brad Keselowski, who currently sits 12 points below the cutoff line qualifying 23rd, Harrison Burton, 20 points below the cutoff line qualifying 34th.
Saturday’s playoff elimination race from Bristol begins at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on USA network.
