Sprint to Deliver VIP NASCAR Experience to More Than 50 Children and Family Members from Phoenix Children’s Hospital

Sprint (NYSE: S) is pleased to partner with Phoenix Children’s Hospital to provide a VIP NASCAR experience to 58 children and family members. The group will receive full access to the Sprint suite for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice and the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. They will have a chance to meet Miss Sprint Cup, see the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship trophy, and visit with a NASCAR celebrity. The celebration gets underway at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Phoenix International Raceway.

The children from Phoenix Children’s Hospital are all being treated for serious illnesses and are patients in the hospital’s Pediatric Dialysis Center, Center for Cancer and Blood Disorder Clinic, Pediatric Gastroenterology Program, or its General Pediatrics department. The patients vary in age – from 5 years old to teenagers – and all of them are excited to attend a NASCAR-sanctioned race.

“We are honored to partner with Phoenix Children’s Hospital and to offer this unforgettable NASCAR experience to fulfill many children’s dreams to attend a race,” said Cody Welker, general manager-Arizona, Sprint. “We’re sure that everyone will have a great time at the Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday.”

Sprint is also offering local Phoenix fans the opportunity to meet Miss Sprint Cup and see the Sprint Cup trophy from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Sprint MetroCenter store at 10215 N. 28th Drive. NASCAR fans can enter to win tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday, and one grand-prize winner will have a chance to win a Pace-Car ride1 (contest runs at the MetroCenter store from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.).
