BK Racing Continues American Salute Campaign with Visit to Travis Air Force Base

BK Racing continued its American Salute Campaign with a visit to Travis Air Force Base with JJ Yeley and Jeb Burton Thursday

Stepping off the plane the teamed headed straight to Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California, for a meet and greet with the service members. In addition to signing autographs and taking pictures, the two BK Racing drivers also handed out 350 tickets to Sunday’s Toyota Save-Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.

“It was great to get out and visit with the Airmen at Travis Air Force Base,” commented JJ Yeley. “We were able to hand out tickets for Sunday’s event, and meet with the folks who continue to make sacrifices on a daily basis, so we can continue to do what we love every weekend.”

Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Jeb Burton also commented, “I had a good time getting to meet with the Airmen yesterday at Travis Air Force Base. The team has done a great job with giving back to those who serve our country, and I’m glad to be part of it.”

Next week, BK Racing continues the stride to saluting our military. Fifteen members of the BK Racing organization will be making their way to Feyetteville, North Carolina, to participate in a skydiving event with the Golden Knights on Tuesday, June 30. In addition, the team is continuing its online silent auctions to help raise money for Hope For The Warrior, a non-profit that provides comprehensive support for service members, veterans and families. 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated back to the organization in Daytona, during Pre-Race Ceremonies at Daytona International Speedway on July 5.
