With old school practice this weekend at North Wilkesboro with a full field of cars on track at once Gibbs who will be in the All Star Open looking to get into the All Star Race set the fastest time of the day in the 50 minute practice session.
In the 49 laps of practice the No. 54 team turned the race a 18.145 seconds lap at 124.001 over Blaney who is already locked into the All Star Race with a lap time of 18.176 at 123.790. Gibb’s teammate Bell would top the charts in third followed by Elliott and Wallace to round out the top-five.
The NASCAR All Star Open is scheduled for 100 laps to kick off racing starting at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday followed by the NASCAR All Star Race with one-million dollars on the line at 8:00 p.m. ET on FS1.
