Auto-Owners Insurance Re-Signs with HScott Motorsports For Multiple Races

HScott Motorsports is pleased to announce that Auto-Owners Insurance will continue its relationship with the No. 51 Chevrolet SS driven by Justin Allgaier in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS). Auto-Owners Insurance will be the primary sponsor for three races during the 2015 season. The No. 51 will hit the track in the blue and white Auto-Owners Insurance paint scheme at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) in April, Talladega Superspeedway in October and Martinsville Speedway in November. The three-race sponsorship marks the second season Auto-Owners has been involved in the NSCS and with HScott Motorsports.

Auto-Owners Insurance, a Fortune 500 company, is the 15th-largest property and casualty insurer in the country, based on written premiums. Headquartered in Lansing, Michigan, Auto-Owners Insurance employs more than 4,200 associates. The company, comprised of five property and casualty companies and a life company, writes business in 26 states through 6,200 local independent agencies.

“We are pleased to continue our sponsorship of the No. 51 Sprint Cup Series team and driver Justin Allgaier,” said Jeff Harrold, Chairman and CEO of Auto-Owners Insurance.  “We are looking forward to the race weekends at Bristol, Talladega and Martinsville.  Justin had a great rookie season and we anticipate another exciting year in 2015.”

“I’m thrilled to welcome Auto-Owners Insurance back as part of our family of partners at HScott Motorsports,” said Harry Scott Jr., owner of HScott Motorsports. “I think their return speaks volumes about the direction of HScott Motorsports and Justin as a driver. Not only has their presence on the track expanded, but so has their relationship with our team away from the track by them becoming the official auto insurance for us and Justin.”

Allgaier, who finished third in his Sunoco Rookie of the Year campaign in 2014, will begin his second full season in the NSCS at the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 22. He led 16 laps in his first year in the NSCS, including four during the ‘Great American Race’ at Daytona International Speedway.

“I can’t thank Auto-Owners Insurance enough for returning to HScott Motorsports and to my car during the 2015 season,” said Allgaier. “They’re a great company, and I really enjoyed getting to know them and spending time with them last year. Having the support of such a solid company is an honor, and I want to make them proud this year.”
