Xtreme Changes for No. 44 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Team

Team Xtreme Racing, formerly known as Xxxtreme Motorsport has recently some major changes during their time off from their limited race schedule for the 2014 season.   Along with the name change the team has also added a new but familiar face as Peter Sospenzo has recently been named crew chief for the No. 44 Phoenix Warehouse Chevrolet which is now in its new home located on Knob Hill Drive in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Timmy Hill of Port Tobacco, Maryland and son of former NASCAR driver Jerry Hill will be behind the wheel of the No. 44 Phoenix Warehouse Chevrolet for the Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway.  The car will be carrying a special pink ribbon in memory of two very special ladies who lost their lives to breast cancer recently.  Donna Gmooch, sister of Alan Antonucci, President/CEO of Phoenix Warehouse and All City Leasing, and Chris Antonucci who is CFO for the corporation.  Miriam Gonzales, girlfriend of Chris Antonucci also lost her battle with the disease that has claimed so many lives.

The No. 44 Phoenix Warehouse Chevrolet will be on track at Martinsville Speedway for the Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 on Sunday, October 26.  Live television coverage begins at 1 PM EDT on ESPN, along with live radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
