Roush Fenway to Host Boston Fan Appreciation Day July 14

Roush Fenway Racing will host its second annual Fan Appreciation Day in Boston on Thursday, July 14 at City Hall Plaza.  The Roush Fenway drivers, show cars and team transporters will highlight the activities planned that afternoon.

The event will kick off with a transporter parade at 1pm which will head down Beacon Street and pass the State House.  Autograph sessions begin at 1:15pm with Roush Fenway drivers Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle, David Ragan, Trevor Bayne, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and team owner Jack Roush.

Several displays will be on hand at City Hall Plaza beginning at 11:30am including Roush Fenway show cars and an iRacing.com simulator.  The Boston Red Sox mascot “Wally” will make an appearance, and both ESPN and NESN will be taping shows to air that evening.

“Since we began our affiliation with Fenway Sports Group our fan base has grown considerably in the New England area,” said Jack Roush.  “Running at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is like being at a home track for us now, so we at Roush Fenway wanted to have an event for our fans in the area as well as create new fans by bringing the excitement of NASCAR to them.”

Admission is free and fans of all ages are encouraged to attend.
