10th – Chris Buescher

13th – Ryan Preece

17th – Todd Gilliland

JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Mustang Dark Horse (Finished 7th) – “I was a little further back than I wanted to be. We did a good job with our cycle and got ourselves out there, but there weren’t a lot of Fords with me. I was on my own there and the Chevy gang came and got by us and the Toyotas were coming and there’s no defending it. We just didn’t have enough numbers in this race and that was just by luck. That kind of cycled us a little bit too far back and I thought I could maybe push the bottom row and get going, but just kind of ran a little bit short.”

YOU GOT TO EXECUTE A PIT STOP AND KNOCK OFF SOME RUST, SO SOME GOOD THINGS CAME OUT OF THIS. “Yeah. We did the details really, really well. We nailed that part, so I’m proud of that. We were just kind of put in a spot there and it just is what it is. Numbers weren’t in our favor.”

CHRIS BUESCHER, No. 17 Fastenal Ford Mustang Dark Horse (Finished 10th) – “More friends would have definitely helped. That made it a little tough trying to make it through all the cars hitting pit road. We just really got jacked up, but I thought all of our cars worked well together when we could get them lined up and really start rolling. I was able to push the 22 really well there, but there was nowhere to go with all of the cars up front not being able to get it done. We definitely needed some more friends.”

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT SUNDAY? “Really good. We handled well. The ride quality was good. It pushed well. That was one of the big questions we had with the new Mustang was is it gonna push like the last one and it sure felt like we were able to. We just needed more numbers to get out front and be able to lead them out there.”
