Paralyzed Veterans of America Announces NASCAR Driver Brad Keselowski as Partner in ‘Wheels Helping Warriors‘ Program

Paralyzed Veterans of America (Paralyzed Veterans) announced today that Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion and 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion, will be partnering with Paralyzed Veterans to help raise awareness about the organization’s vehicle donation program—Wheels Helping Warriors. Keselowski will serve as an honorary spokesperson and be featured in two public service announcements about the program.

“We’re very proud to have Brad Keselowski supporting our Wheels Helping Warriors program,” said Bill Lawson, national president of Paralyzed Veterans. “His involvement with this program will help us extend our reach and raise awareness and vital funds that will directly benefit our nation’s paralyzed veterans.”

Keselowski has long supported veterans through the work of his Checkered Flag Foundation, whose mission is to support veterans and those who have served and sacrificed.

“This is a cause that holds great meaning to me, and it is an honor to participate in this program,” said Keselowski. “Organizations like Paralyzed Veterans do work that truly makes a difference for those who’ve served this country. It is a privilege to be a part of this effort, and I encourage everyone to do everything that they can to support it.”

Officially launched in November 2013, Wheels Helping Warriors marks Paralyzed Veterans’ first nationwide vehicle donation program. Paralyzed Veterans has partnered with the Donation Division of Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (IAA), the leading live and live-online salvage auto auction company, to help with the donation process. IAA’s Donation Division provides nonprofit organizations with complete donation processing services—a key differentiator in the marketplace that creates a simplified approach for participants. IAA assists with title issues, vehicle pickup, auction services and receipts all donors following the auction.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Paralyzed Veterans of America and help streamline the vehicle donation process for their Wheels Helping Warriors program,” said John Kett, president, IAA. “We welcome Brad Keselowski into our partnership with the organization and look forward to further making a difference in the lives of our veterans.”
