NASCAR Truck race at Eldora near sellout

Eldora Speedway officials announced Monday that brisk weekend sales have reduced the number of remaining reserved seats to just 600 for the Wednesday, July 24 running of the Inaugural Mudsummer Classic.  The highly anticipated NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event will be NASCAR’s first national series event held on a dirt track since September 1970.

In just 16 days of ticket sales, fans from 48 states, the Virgin Islands, seven Canadian provinces and New Zealand have secured their ticket to witness NASCAR stars take on ‘dirt track ringers’ in another historic Eldora moment.

Due to the demand, Eldora Speedway officials also announced that 1,000 General Admission tickets will go on public sale Tuesday at 10 a.m.  The tickets, which allow fans to bring their own lawn chairs and view all of the action from the popular grass hillsides in a festival setting are an Eldora tradition, and will be available from www.EldoraSpeedway.com or by calling the Eldora Speedway Ticket Office at (937) 338-3815.  General Admission tickets are $36 for adults and $12 for children (12 & younger).
