MB Motorsports continues tradition at Iowa

MB Motorsports continues its tradition of grooming up and coming drivers, as the team heads to Iowa Speedway with young Justin Jennings.  Jennings will make his Nascar Camping World Truck Series debut in the #65 LG SEEDS Ford F-150 at “America’s Place To Race”.

Jennings, a native of LaGrange, MO, has made a name for himself in late models and made his ARCA debut last July in the scorching heat at Iowa Speedway, scoring a Top 20 finish.
“I don’t think I could be more excited about attempting my first Nascar race with Mike Mittler and the MB Motorsports crew,” says Jennings.  “LG Seeds, who’s been with me in our late model effort, is sponsoring us at Iowa and I’m very grateful for their support.”  LG SEEDS is headquartered in Elmwood, IL and is a brand of AgReliant Genetics, LLC, the fourth largest corn seed company in the USA. LG SEEDS offers corn, soybean and alfalfa seed to farmers throughout the Corn Belt.

Team owner Mike Mittler has been watching Jennings’ progress for a long time.  “Justin’s a talented kid,” he says. “Being able to make his debut at a track where he’s already got some laps under him is a definite plus.  We’ve got the LG SEEDS Ford primed and ready to go.”

MIKE MITTLER’S THOUGHTS ON IOWA SPEEDWAY:
“Iowa is a great facility, for both the teams and the race fans.  We’ve been working with Justin, getting him acclimated to the truck, our communication, making sure we understand each other so we can adjust the truck based on his feedback.  Making your first Nascar race is a big deal- a lot of pressure.  I think Justin will give it his all in the LG Seeds Ford.”

JUSTIN JENNING’S THOUGHTS ON IOWA SPEEDWAY:
“Having run the ARCA race at Iowa last year will be a big help.  I’m already familiar with the track and of course, the MB Motorsports crew has run there before, so I think we’re in pretty good shape.  I just want to give LG Seeds a good showing, get some experience, earn the respect of the others drivers and bring the truck home in one piece.  If we can do that, I will be very happy.”
