Visit Kingsport to return to JJL Motorsports for upcoming Truck Series race at Bristol

JJL Motorsports proudly announced today that Visit Kingsport will return as the co-primary marketing partner for driver Jesse Little in the upcoming NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) UNOH 200 race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway on Thurs., Aug. 15.

Promoting the city’s “Get Into the Outdoors” campaign, Kingsport offers a variety of activities including hiking, biking and zip-lining at Bays Mountain Park and Planetarium, kayaking on the Holston River – or at sunset enjoying the overall beauty of Kingsport while sipping on the city’s original Long Island Iced Tea.
 
“I’m really looking forward to having Visit Kingsport back on our truck for Bristol,” said driver Jesse Little. “Bristol is one of my favorite race tracks and to have the support of a local partner makes the race that much important not only for me but for our JJL Motorsports team.
 
To help promote the partnership, Little and Visit Kingsport will have their No. 97 JJL Motorsports Ford F-150 on display at the Kingsport Race Party in conjunction with the World Long Drive Tour event onMon. Aug. 12, where the duo will also announce the winners of their social media promotion where three winners and a guest will have an opportunity to join Little and his team on the sidelines for a night in Thunder Valley.

“We’re excited to kick off race week with Jesse and his team at the Kingsport Race Party on Monday, August 12, in conjunction with the Tennessee Big Shots World Long Drive event. We hope race fans and first timers alike will take in the UNOH 200 on August 15 and extend their stay to enjoy all of the racing action and discover all that Kingsport and our region have to offer.”
 
JJL Motorsports also announced that Skuttle Tight, a Willmar, Minn.-based manufacturer that offers two insulted attic access system that are easy to install will also serve as the additional co-primary marketing partner for the 17th NGOTS race of the season.
 
Little, a NASCAR Next alumnus will make his 30th career NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series start at the “World’s Fastest-Half Mile” and fourth overall at Bristol.
 
Little, the son of former Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver Chad Little is a former pole winner at Bristol for the K&N Pro Series East race in Apr. 2015.
 
The UNOH 200 is set for Thurs., Aug. 15 with coverage on FOX Sports 1 (FS1), the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM Satellite Radio Channel 90. Event coverage begins at 8:30 p.m. (ET).
