Chase Briscoe Returns to the No. 27 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150 for Eldora Dirt Derby

Reigning Eldora Dirt Derby race winner Chase Briscoe will return to the No. 27 Ford F-150 with DIAEDGE onboard as the primary sponsor for the Seventh Annual NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway.

With more than 50% of a truck and car’s NASCAR components being custom made in each team’s shop by CNC equipment, DIAEDGE cutting tools help manufacturing customers’ machine difficult applications and racing components.

With more than 35,000 products, DIAEDGE tools are used in machining of automotive, aerospace, medical, oil & gas and many other industries that drive manufacturing.

Briscoe is no stranger to dirt, currently competing full-time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) and previously competing in the Gander Trucks for Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR), he cut his teeth racing on dirt at tracks in Indiana and surrounding states.

The 24-year-old, Mitchell, Indiana-native worked his way up to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West and the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards where he won the 2016 ARCA championship, on his way to the Gander Trucks and beyond.

“I can’t wait to get back to Eldora. It’s a special race to me because for guys growing up on dirt it’s our version of Daytona. No one has ever won that race twice let alone back-to-back and hopefully we can do it. I’m so thankful to Duke and Rhonda Thorson for letting me run this race and hopefully we can get DIAEDGE, Ford, and ThorSport Racing a victory,” said Briscoe.

ThorSport Racing has won the past two Eldora Dirt Derby races. In addition to Briscoe’s Dirt Derby win in 2018, series veteran Matt Crafton took the win in 2017.

Taking the green flag for the 2019 Eldora Dirt Derby, televised action heats up Thursday, Aug. 1, at 9 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1 (FS1). Additional coverage can be found via the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM Channel 90.
