“We had a shot and I really wanted to deliver a win. We just didn’t get it done. I’m bummed, because I thought I timed it right. I was pushing him (Kyle Busch), and he was doing a good job of blocking. I just didn’t think I could get there. If I went to the top, I wouldn’t have had enough momentum. It’s a good start for the Tenda Ford F-150, though. I’m happy with the effort.”

“The Rip It / Menards Ford F-150 was fast at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Unfortunately a loose wheel in the late laps of the race led me to come back down pit road. A 14th-place finish didn’t show how strong we were but we were able to pickup more stage points and lead some laps.”

GRANT ENFINGER FINISHES A TRACK-BEST THRID AT ATLANTA – TAKES OVER POINT LEAD
“The inside line was definitely important on that final restart. There was no grip on the outside lane tonight, especially on a restart. I’m really proud of our guys, and this third place finish. We were up and down today – led some laps, and got shuffled back. The pit crew did a great job on pit road, and in the end, we came out with a solid finish. I can’t say thank you enough to Champion Power Equipment, Mike Curb, Duke and Rhonda Thorson – everyone that allows us to do this. Also to the all the fans who stuck it out tonight.”

“It was a solid day at Atlanta Motor Speedway for our Carolina Nut Ford F-150 team but unfortunately we were forced back into the field on the last restart after the truck in front of me spun their tires. We led some laps and picked up some good stage points and ultimately rebounded to finish fifth. I’m proud of the effort of my whole team. This is only our second race together as a new group but we still have much to work on. I’m excited to see how much stronger we will get with each race.”
