“We had a fast ISM Connect Chevy tonight. It was great on the short run, but the handling would start to go away toward the end and I just wasn’t able to make a pass. A few pit stop miscues hurt us tonight, especially the jack breaking on the last stop, but those are things you can’t control. Thankfully these guys give me great trucks and we’re able to go back out and pick up track position to put us back up front in the end.”

Justin Haley, No. 24 Fraternal Order of Eagles Chevrolet

START: 10th

FINISH: 6th

POINTS: 6th

Notes:

– This is Haley’s seventh top-10 finish after 11 races in the 2018 NCWTS season.

– Haley remains sixth in the NCWTS driver point standings, locked in after his Gateway win, but has closed in within 5 points of fifth-place.

Quote:

“Not the best night for the No. 24 Fraternal Order of Eagles team but we fought back all night to make it a good points night. I’m proud of all my guys and everyone that works so hard at GMS Racing to build us fast trucks. Now the trucks have an off-week and I get to go run with the big boys on the Xfinity side.”

-With is run at Chicagoland Speedway, Coughlin remains 10th in the NCWTS driver point standings.

Quote:

“It was another tough night for our team. Our time is coming though. We will regroup during this break and head to Kentucky Speedway. I am confident Jerry (Baxter, crew chief) and my team can rally. They all work so hard and I appreciate it.”

Dalton Sargeant, No. 25 Performance Plus Motor Oil Chevrolet

START: 2nd

FINISH: 20th

POINTS: 11th

Quote:

“The Performance Plus Motor Oil Chevy was really fast tonight. Unfortunately, we just weren’t able to put a whole race together. It was great to be up front and lead some laps. This No. 25 team has improved a lot over the last few weeks and I think we’ll pick right up in Kentucky in a few weeks.”
