Mark Martin Podcast to sponsor Jordan Anderson’s NASCAR Truck at Texas Motor Speedway

The Mark Martin Podcast will sponsor Jordan Anderson at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Texas Motor Speedway on June 8th. Anderson, who is amidst his fourth full season with the series, has ties to Mark Martin back to when he was a kid.

“I first learned of Jordan when he was about 10 years old racing in the Bandolero division at Charlotte with my son, Matt,” said Martin. “He was practically unbeatable. He was racing some really fierce competition every week and if he didn’t have trouble, he was the man to beat.”

In a world where car owners hire drivers to run their equipment, Anderson counters that trend. The Columbia, South Carolina native is both the owner and driver for Jordan Anderson Racing.

“I love that he does things the old school way,” continued Martin. “He pulls a smaller enclosed trailer with a dually crew cab pickup truck. There’s no big money involved. He has just enough equipment for a couple trucks. He has a couple full-time employees and everybody else is volunteer help. He’s doing it the old school way like a lot of us did a generation before him coming into NASCAR.”

Anderson has a big following across several social media platforms. He has taken to social media to interact with his fans to help with crowdfunding efforts to secure sponsorship and keep his team out on the road.

Last year, Anderson ran the majority of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule running just one truck. This year, he has a four-car stable, which includes one Toyota, two Chevrolets, and one Ford.

Through the first seven races, Anderson sits 16th in the point standings with one top 10.
