Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing Gears Up for 2018 Season – Team to Compete with NT1 Optional Engine

Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing (JJCR) is poised to compete in this Friday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Nextera Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway with new title sponsor, Think Realty.  Cobb holds the record at the famous 2.5 mile Superspeedway for being the highest finishing female in the NCWTS with a sixth place finish in 2011.  This year her team will compete with a version of the NT1 optional engine built by ILMOR that was built for the ARCA racing series.

The team led by Crew Chief Timmy Sliva had competed with the older generation SB2 Chevy engines in past seasons and found itself at a disadvantage by as much as 70-80 horsepower at times.  “It is really great that NASCAR has continued to search for a way to bring the overall costs of engines down to try to help all teams save money,” said the Kansas City, Kansas native.  “Our NT1 was built for another series so we will still be down a few horsepower but everyone I talk to has assured me that this will be one of the strongest engines I’ve ever raced and that puts a huge smile on my face.  I just hope they are right.”

The team upgrade was made possible by signing a major title sponsor for the first three events, Think Realty.  Think Realty became an associate sponsor for the team in 2017 and has increased its exposure on the #10 Chevrolet Silverado.  Think Realty provides online education and resources for real estate investors at all levels.   “We are excited to partner with Jen because we believe that she is a great representation of our brand and because we believe that NASCAR is a wonderful marketplace to find current and potential Real Estate Investors,” said Eddie Wilson, President.

New to the JJCR team is minor associate sponsor, Osage Contractors, LLC, which will be featured on the B-Post of the race trucks at every race this year.  “Being close to the Kansas City area we watched her dad race and have followed Jennifer’s career for awhile,” said Dan Griggs, Owner.  “This sponsorship provides us excellent opportunities to entertain our clients at races throughout the season.  We often attend events with our family and this will make those races that much more enjoyable for us all.”

SupportMilitary.org, Driven2honor, Waldo’s Painting, Pit Stops for Hope and DUI Performance Distributors will also appear on the race truck.  Tune into FoxSports1 as both NCWTS practices, qualifying and the race will be aired live on Thursday and Friday.
