NCWTS: FOX Business Network to Air Camping World Truck Series Race at Eldora Speedway, Marcus Lemonis Responds on Twitter

FOX Sports announced on Friday that the Camping World Truck Series race from Eldora Speedway will shift from FOX Sports 1 over to FOX Business Network. FOX Sports decided to move the race over to the FOX Business Network to make room for the CONCACAF Gold Cup Quarterfinal double-header match.

Both channels, according to FOX Sports, are currently served in the same number of homes.

This marks the first time that a NASCAR race will be scheduled on FOX Business Network. However, it isn’t the first time that NASCAR content has appeared there. Last year’s truck race from Iowa Speedway began on the network as the U.S. Open Championship ran over because of weather. In May 2016, FOX televised NASCAR Raceday and pre-race ceremonies from Kansas Speedway on FOX Business Network when an MLB game ran over its television window.

It marks just the fourth Camping World Truck Series event in 2017 not on FOX Sports 1. The series race from Martinsville Speedway in April aired on FOX. The upcoming races at Pocono Raceway in July and Talladega Superspeedway in October will air live on FOX.

Marcus Lemonis, CEO of Camping World, expressed his thoughts on Twitter when he became aware of the move by FOX Sports:

Don’t have FOX Business Network on your cable or satellite package? Don’t panic. SpeedwayDigest.com reached out to FOX Sports for a clarification on Friday and were told that subscribers with FOX Sports 1 can stream the race via FOX Sports Go on their computer, tablet, or smartphone, provided that they’re logged in with an authenticated television provider.
