Bell Wins Charlotte Pole

CONCORD, N.C— Christopher Bell will start from the pole in tonight’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 from Charlotte Motor Speedway. Bell posted a lap of 180.892 mph around the 1.5-mile facility. This is Bell’s third pole in the 2017 season.

Chase Briscoe qualified second at 180.717 mph, Johnny Sauter qualified third at 180.427 mph, Kyle Busch qualified fourth at 179.683 mph, and Ben Rhodes rounded out the top-five at 179.247 mph.

Brandon Brown, who spun during qualifying, and Cody Ware will not race tonight.

Tonight’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 from Charlotte will be broadcasted on Fox Sports 1 and Motor Racing Network at 8:30 p.m. EST.
