RBR, Enfinger team up for NCWTS finale

The last time Grant Enfinger was behind the wheel of a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) entry, he found himself in victory lane in his home state of Alabama at Talladega Superspeedway. The NCWTS season-ending Ford EcoBoost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the Fairhope, Ala., native will look to repeat that feat in the No. 92 Ricky Benton Racing (RBR) Enterprises BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors/Goodyear Commercial Tire Network Ford F-150.

“I’m excited and appreciative for the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the 92 truck at Homestead,” said Enfinger. “I’ve known (RBR team owner) Ricky Benton for a long time and have a lot of respect for what he has done for the sport.”
“Hopefully we can have a solid run for him and all the folks at BTS and Black’s Tire.”

“Grant is a guy who has had a lot of success everywhere he has been,” said Benton. “We had a run of bad luck in the middle of the season, but have a good team with a good crew chief and some good trucks and are looking to finish the season on a high note.”

To make the Enfinger/RBR pairing work required a little rearranging of Enfinger’s schedule for the finale weekend.

“Before Ricky called, I was scheduled to be at Homestead to work as a mechanic on the No. 24 entry with my GMS Racing crew guys,” Enfinger said. “I’m thankful that those guys let me off the hook for a chance to race.”
