Already focused on his 2017 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) program, Reid Wilson will represent his marketing partner TrüNorth™ Warranty this week at the 17th annual UTA (Used Truck Association) annual convention in Savannah, Ga on Nov. 10.
In addition to signing autographs, Wilson will also have his No. 66 TrüNorth™ Chevrolet on display for attendees to see and ask questions of the 20-year-old driver.

Wilson’s presence at the UTA convention is more than just a standard appearance, it’s an opportunity for the Young’s Motorsports development driver to expand his relationship with company officials as TrüNorth™ will return as a primary marketing partner for the 2017 season.
“I’m excited to head to Savannah this week and meet the customers of TruNorth,” said Wilson. “Without them, my experience in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series would be limited. Attending the UTA convention is a chance for me to learn more about the industry and work with those who help put us on the track.”
With the returning support of TrüNorth™, Wilson is eager for the 2017 season to arrive after competing in four races this season.
Making his NASCAR K&N Pro Series debut at New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway in Feb., Wilson quickly raised his status from competitor to challenger in his second race of the season at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.
After qualifying 10th, he finished a competitive sixth. Two months later, he posted back-to-back top-10 finishes with a 10th place run at Dominion Raceway. From there, Wilson made the move to New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the largest track of his career.
Practicing very well, Wilson qualified 11th and began marching his way towards the front when he became a victim in an on-track accident while running competitively inside the top-10 on Lap 32.
Despite the tough end to his limited schedule, Wilson was upbeat about the direction of his team and their on-track success this season.
“My Young’s Motorsports team did a great job all year long,” added Wilson. “It took us a race to really gel with one another – but from there we were bringing fast cars to the track and we were competitive. Just had some bad luck at New Hampshire. That’s going to happen. It’s racing.
“But, the good thing from our season is that everyone wants to come back next year and do even better. We’re working hard on the cars and thanks to the support of TrüNorth™, we’ll get another chance to do this in 2017.” .
