Korbin Forrister, making his first NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series (NCWTS) start of the 2016, will pilot the No. 5 All Secure Document Disposal Company (ASDDC) Wauters Motorsports Toyota Tundra at Talladega Superspeedway, Saturday, October 22 in the running of the Fred’s 250.
The Cedartown, GA native is no stranger to the 2.66-mile superspeedway having two prior NCWTS starts. He also made his second start in an ARCA Racing Series race on the Lincoln, AL track earlier this year.
Forrister teamed up with veteran NASCAR crew chief and owner, Richie Wauters earlier this year and went back to asphalt racing. The Wauters Super Late Model team and Forrister competed in the CARS Tour event at Myrtle Beach Speedway (Myrtle Beach, SC), the final Blizzard Series event at 5 Flags Speedway (Pensacola, FL) and the All-American 400 at Fairground Speedway Nashville (Nashville, TN).
“Richie (Wauters) is a great crew chief, the best I’ve ever had the privilege to work with,” Korbin Forrister said. “When we met we decided to start at the Late Model (SLM) level. I’ve been out of the seat most of this year and that’s hard racing when you’re in those (cars), they teach you the basics, hard racing and to feel the car and learn to give feedback to the crew chief the right away. Plus the races I ran were a lot of laps, and seat time is hard to beat, I’ve learned a ton over the past three weekends that I wouldn’t have learned without being in those events.”
Wauters has one win (Kyle Busch 2009), three top five finishes in just five starts on Talladega Superspeedway as a NCWTS crew chief.
“Our relationship has developed well,” Forrister continued. “He has been doing this for a long time and it shows week in and week out. He knows what needs to be done to get out front and stay out front. He pushes you to be the best you can be every lap, and wants to do nothing but go out and win every weekend, and I like that, he’s got a lot of passion for this sport and winning. You don’t see that much anymore in this day and time. I feel like it’s a good fit here and I plan on racing with him for a long time as long as the funds are there.”

“All Secure Document Disposal Company who is onboard with us this weekend is from my hometown,” Forrister explained. “Tim Parker the owner has been a good friend of the family for a while now, he does a lot of stuff for us and I’m happy he’s able to be with us at Talladega since it’s so close to home. He’s always asking me every weekend how we ended up or how we did, so now he’s going with us to Talladega I’m ready to get out there and put together a good run for him. I want to thank the other sponsors who came on board to make this weekend possible, without all these people helping I wouldn’t be racing Talladega.”
