Chris Lafferty moved to North Carolina with only a dream. Living in a moving truck and having no job and no home, Chris worked hard becoming a well respected engine builder in NASCAR then forming his own performance engine company. Chris has written for many magazines and in 2004 formed Lafferty Motorsports, fielding a truck in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Indy. Steadily over the years the Lafferty Company has grown. Chris credits his success with being a well rounded mechanic, who is able to do every part of race car construction and he says that he is not afraid of any mountain!
