The Mexican driver, Enrique Contreras III, has been presented as Contreras Motorsports driver to race in the #71 for the Saturday’s night race at Gateway Motorsports.
Enrique Contreras III will take his second start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) after his debut in 2014 in Martinsville when he finished 20th.
Enrique Contreras III was Rookie of the Year in NASCAR Mexico Series in 2011, category in which participated regularly and also has competed in selected races of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series from 2012.
The young Mexican driver, Enrique Contreras III receives the opportunity to drive the #71 Contreras Motorsports truck for the first time in the 2016 season thanks to the support of MOTUL, brand of oils and lubricants for high performance, as part of the team’s program of talent development.
Carlos Contreras, Director of Racing Operations of Contreras Motorsports, said that with Enrique aims to add experience and build a program of selected races during the 2016 season to be eligible to compete in the 2017 full season.
This Saturday’s night race is scheduled to take place at 7:30 pm local time - 8:30 pm Eastern time and you can watch it in FS1 at 7:30 pm or in Fox Sports 3 in Mexico and the United States.
