MB Motorsports and Sealwrap Wrap Up 2011 Operation Homefront at Texas

MB Motorsports and SealWrap will wrap up their 2011 program to support Operation Homefront at Texas Motor Speedway in the WinStar World Casino 350K. Jack Smith will be making his third start at the fast 1.5 mile quad-oval in the #63 SealWrap / Operation Homefront Ford for MB Motorsports.

“We are so proud to have worked with Operation Homefront this season.” says Smith. “As we have at the other races, we’ve got eight servicemen and women joining us at the track on Friday. Our team has been thrilled to have these heroes with us.” Team owner Mike Mittler is very proud to have supported Operation Homefront during the 2011 NCWTS season. “I’m a big supporter of our military and Operation Homefront does wonderful work to help the families of those who risk their lives to protect our freedom. While our men and women who serve our country make sacrifices to do so, so do their families. I’m grateful for the work Operation Homefront does to make sure these families are supported and know that we appreciate and value them. I hope a lot of race fans text HERO to 50555 to make a $5 donation to Operation Homefront.”

Don Lux, National Sales Manager for SealWrap, reminds race fans that SealWrap is matching their text donations. “SealWrap will match all texted donations up to $10,000, so we challenge the dedicated fans of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to donate to this worthy cause. Operation Homefront is a great organization and we should all do what we can to support our servicemen and women. Our way of life depends on them.”

Operation Homefront provides direct services to alleviate a military family’s or individual’s actual/complete emergency financial burden, as well as counseling and/or recovery support. Emergency financial assistance is in the form of checks paid directly to mortgage lenders, auto mechanics, contractors, hospitals, doctors, dentists and other providers. Other emergency funding assistance, which an applicant receives within 24 to 72 hours, includes the following financial assistance, emergency food, emergency home repairs, critical baby items: formula, food and diapers, home and appliance repair, furniture and household items, local moving assistance, community events, Wounded Warrior transitional family housing and more. Race fans can support MB Motorsports and SealWrap’s efforts by making an $5 donation by texting HERO to 50555 or by contacting their local Operation Homefront chapter to donate or volunteer.
