Hope For The Warriors celebrates 10th anniversary with special paint schemes at Charlotte NASCAR races

Kicking off their 10th anniversary celebration, Hope For The Warriors will draw on relationships within the NASCAR community to have two racecars decorated with the organization’s logo and imagery. Leading up to Memorial Day weekend, two separate NASCAR drivers will run a Hope For The Warriors wrap on their vehicles to drive attention and awareness to the military nonprofit that restores family, self and hope for service members, veterans and military families.

On Friday, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Brandon Jones will drive the No. 71 Hope For The Warriors Chevrolet Silverado in the truck race, which will feature the organization’s 10 Year Anniversary logo on the hood and other imagery across the body of the truck.

“I’m so excited to have Hope For The Warriors on our truck this weekend,” commented Jones. “For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a really big interest in the military and what they do on a daily basis. Over the last year, I’ve had a chance to get to know some of the people at Hope For The Warriors; I’ve met the people that use their services and I’ve seen the difference that they make with veterans, service members and military families. It’s always a privilege to spend time with the service members they bring to the track; it’s funny, they think my job is cool, but I think their job is just as cool and way more important. To be able to build those relationships through Hope For The Warriors and take part in that camaraderie has been very special for me.”

Meanwhile, BK Racing’s No. 83 Toyota driven by Matt DiBenedetto will also have a patriotic paint scheme featuring Hope For The Warriors. DiBenedetto is scheduled to compete in the Sprint Showdown on Saturday night.

“Hope for the Warriors is a cause close to my family, as my brother Austin is currently in the U.S. Air Force and we’ve seen first hand what our military members go through,” commented DiBenedetto. “Hope for the Warriors is an excellent organization and I’m proud to support them on the No. 83 Hope for the Warriors/Cosmo Motors Camry this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.”

On a near weekly basis, Hope For The Warriors brings service members to the track through their Drive For Hope program, which focuses on engaging transitioning service members in a unique social setting while giving them an opportunity to learn about prospective careers, make networking connections and realize different ways their skills can transition as they reintegrate into the civilian sector.
