PIRTEK Partners With Brad Keselowski Racing, Austin Cindric At Dover

Brad Keselowski Racing announced today that PIRTEK, the industry leader in fluid transfer solution sales and service in the United States, will serve as primary sponsor of the No. 2 PIRTEK Ford F-150 driven by Austin Cindric in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race on May 13 at Dover (Del.) International Speedway.

Although their name might be new to racing fans in the U.S., PIRTEK has a rich history in motorsports. In Australia, PIRTEK was well known as the primary sponsor of Marcos Ambrose during his V8 SuperCar championship run in 2003 and 2004. Today, they are a primary sponsor for DJR Team Penske’s SuperCar team which makes their sponsorship of Cindric and BKR an easy transition.

“Everyone at PIRTEK is excited about our first foray into NASCAR with Austin Cindric and Brad Keselowski Racing,” said Glenn Duncan, Executive Director, PIRTEK International.  “We’re looking at the United States as a growth opportunity for our company. We decided that continuing our involvement in motorsports was a great way to push our growth and working with Team Penske and Brad Keselowski Racing in the Camping World Truck Series was the right avenue for us.  Austin is a rising talent and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can achieve at Dover.”

PIRTEK Service and Supply Centers stock, customize and install high pressure and industrial hoses and fittings of all kinds.  When production stops due to a hose failure, a Mobile Service Vehicle is on the way to repair it on site.  The PIRTEK range of products and services is designed to meet the diverse requirements of customers of all sizes from a broad cross section of industries.  More importantly, within each of these industries there are literally hundreds of opportunities and applications for which the PIRTEK range of products and services are in demand.

“It’s always exciting when a company like PIRTEK expands their relationship to include NASCAR,” Team Owner Brad Keselowski said.  “PIRTEK has formed a new relationship with Team Penske through its Virgin Australia SuperCar program, so we are really proud that they have chosen BKR as they venture into NASCAR.  I’m confident that Austin and our race team will deliver a quality performance and experience for them at Dover.”

Cindric, 17, enters the NCWTS race at Dover fresh off his first NASCAR victory on April 30 at Virginia (Danville, Va.) International Raceway in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.  He made his NCWTS debut at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway with BKR last October, where he qualified 14th and ran well before a late-race incident relegated him to a 25th-place finish.  His second NCWTS start came at Phoenix (Avondale, Ariz.) International Raceway a few weeks later, where he scored a respectable 14th-place finish.

I’m honored to carry the PIRTEK colors because I’ve seen firsthand, while racing in the Bathurst 12 Hour event, that it’s a brand with a rich history in motorsports across the globe,” Cindric said.  “A track called the ‘Monster Mile’ shouldn’t be taken lightly. The truck races that I was able to do last year at Martinsville and Phoenix were two of the more difficult tracks, and I believe Dover will be the same situation as I haven’t ever been there.  I’m watching as much video as possible and reaching out to as many people as I can to pick learn what it takes to be fast at Dover.”
