Parker Kligerman, who came into the night sitting second in points, found himself into some trouble early on in the Toyota Tundra 250. Kligerman was caught up into an incident that involved John Hunter Nemechek and John Wes Townley in turn four.
“I just saw the 8 get into the 05. Spun him down as they were up against the race track as I was coming and just stayed low,” Kligerman told SpeedwayDigest.com. “Then the 05 just came down the race track and clipped us at the wrong time as there was nothing you could do.”
Nemechek and Townley were able to continue despite damage to their race machines.
Kligerman will leave with a 31st-place finish if they’re unable to return.
