No. 92 Chevrolet Silverado back on track at Martinsville

The No. 92 Ricky Benton Racing (RBR) Enterprises No. 92 BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors/fleetHQ.com Chevrolet Silverado team with driver Clay Rogers will be heading to Martinsville (Va.) Speedway for the Kroger 200 this weekend to attempt its 15th race of the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season.

In the series’ first trip to the half-mile paperclip-shaped track in the spring, the No. 92 finished 16th after running up front most of the day, getting as high asthird in the running order late in the race.

“We had one of our best trucks of the year at Martinsville back in April,” said Rogers, “we just caught some bad breaks at the end having to restart on the outside and just got shuffled back.

“But I’m excited about heading back. We raced competitively last time and should be even better this time out. If we catch some breaks, we can get a top-10 finish if not a top-5.”

The truck will be carrying the logo of Tri-City Tires from Rutherfordton, N.C. this week in addition to the BTS and fleethq.com branding.

“Tri-City has been a great partner for our core business at BTS and we are proud to have them on the No. 92 this weekend,” said RBR Enterprises owner Ricky Benton.

The No. 92 BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors/fleetHQ.com Chevrolet will be making its 15th start of the NCWTS season. Despite not entering seven races, the team is 20th in the series points standings. In the previous 14 starts, the team has 11 top-20 finishes, including a season-best third place showing at Daytona.
