Buescher will pilot a Marsh Racing Corvette in the final round of the inaugural US GT Championship at Daytona

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) championship contender James Buescher will travel to the ‘World’s Center of Racing’ on Sunday to take part in the North American Road Racing Association’s (NARRA) Finals Weekend with Marsh Racing. Following the NCWTS Coca-Cola 250 presented by Fred’s on Saturday afternoon at Talladega Superspeedway, Buescher will head to Daytona International Speedway to jump behind the wheel of the Whelen Engineering Corvette for the final day of the series’ championship weekend. He will take part in one practice and qualifying session before the 30-minute race on the Florida speedway’s famed road course.

This will mark his first NARRA start, but Buescher is no stranger to road-course racing. The Plano, Texas-native made his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) road-course racing debut at Watkins Glen International in earlier this season, bringing home a solid top-20 result.

Buescher and team owner, Ted Marsh, have worked together on several occasions in the past with Buescher making five starts for Marsh in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2007 and 2008. In those five starts Buescher captured four top-10 finishes.

The Turner Motorsports driver is excited for the opportunity to build his racing resume with Marsh Racing and the NARRA.

“I am thrilled to have an opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Whelen Engineering Chevrolet Corvette. I would like to thank Mr. Marsh and all the guys at Marsh Racing for giving me the opportunity to race against some of the world’s best road course racers. Hopefully we can bring Chevrolet home two victories this weekend. “

James Buescher and the No. 31 Bad Boy Mowers Chevrolet Silverado team remain in one of the tightest battles in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history. The Turner Motorsports driver sits seven points out of the lead with four races remaining on the 2011 schedule.
