A partnership between Race Engines Plus (REP) and War Hawk Performance will be powering Spencer Boyd’s No. 63 Go-Parts Dodge Ram in his NCWTS debut. Joey Arrington, founder of REP, has channeled his Truck Series Championships and Engine Builder Awards to build a custom engine program for Boyd’s Go-Parts Dodge Ram in the Alpha Energy Solutions 250 on April 2, 2016 at Martinsville Speedway.
The partnership between REP and War Hawk Performance highlights the potential of creating custom Dodge products for people with the need for speed. “When Spencer came to us looking for an engine program that would give him the best showing in his debut, we jumped at the opportunity,” states Arrington. “With REP and War Hawk, we’re bringing other performance components into the equation that further enhances MB Motorsport’s already great program and gives Spencer a truck that fits his driving style.”
“This partnership allows us to showcase our ability to customize a high performance Dodge machine,” adds Peter Basica of War Hawk Performance. “The result of our recent efforts is the War Hawk Challenger. It was designed and built to deliver superior handling, braking and performance, much like what Spencer will be driving at Martinsville.”
