7-Year-Old Annabelle Lacy will be “Riding Shotgun with Kyle Busch Motorsports” at Talladega

Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) is thrilled to announce that 7-year-old Annabelle Lacy from Odenville, Ala., was selected the winner of the “Riding Shotgun with Kyle Busch Motorsports” essay contest for Talladega Superspeedway. Lacy’s name and picture will adorn the area above the passenger side window of the No. 18 Toyota Certified Used Vehicles Tundra for the Coca-Cola 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race Saturday, Oct. 22. Lacy and her family will have the opportunity to attend Saturday’s event compliments of Talladega Superspeedway and will get the chance to meet Busch on the starting grid prior to the race.

Lacy, a home-schooled second-grader, had her essay selected as the winner among submissions from children ages 5-12 in Alabama. The contest called for children to write an essay of 150 words or less that described an experience and/or achievement that occurred within the past 12 months that affected their lives in a positive way. Her essay described how she overcame a difficult challenge through persistence.

“I just kept practicing more and in the end I felt very proud of myself for not giving up,” Lacy proclaimed in her essay.
