Billy Boat Motorsports to Field Second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Entry

Billy Boat Motorsports (BBM) announced today that it will field a second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) entry with driver Chad Boat at Chicagoland Speedway.  Boat, who made his NCWTS debut at Eldora Speedway earlier this season, will pilot the No. 16 CorvetteParts.net Chevrolet Silverado to join teammate Mason Mingus, driver of the No. 15 Call 811 Before You Dig Chevrolet Silverado, in the America Ethanol E15 225 on Friday, September 18.

“Our goal all year has been to field two trucks as a team,” said BBM team owner Billy Boat. “Our guys have been working hard to build great trucks, and I hope the added information we can gather during practice will help us compete at the front of the field.”

Boat, who grew up racing midgets and sprint cars, has 17 NASCAR XFINTY Series (NXS) starts and will add a second NCWTS event to his resume at Chicagoland Speedway.  The 23-year-old and BBM have partnered with CorvetteParts.net, the leader in Corvette parts and accessories, and will have support from Pristine Auction, a consignment based auction house specializing in autographed memorabilia, sports cards, and collectibles that ensure 100% authenticity.

“I can’t wait to get to Chicago,” said Boat, who has one NXS start at the 1.5-mile Joliet, Il track. “BBM has prepared two solid trucks and I look forward to working with Mason on and off the track to help both of us have a successful weekend. Thanks to CorvetteParts.net, Pristine Auction, Call 811 Before You Dig, Billy Boat Performance Exhaust and Chevrolet for making this possible.”
