NCWTS: Careers for Veterans 200 Race Preview

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will invade the Michigan International Speedway for the 16th annual Careers for Veterans 200 on Saturday. The race will serve as the 13th stop for the Camping World Truck Series in 2015. Johnny Sauter will come into the weekend as the defending race winner.

The entry list features 33 different drivers. Some of these include Caleb Roark, Alex Bowman, Mason Mingus, Ryan Blaney, Chad Finley, Austin Dillon, Todd Peck, Kyle Busch and Cody Coughlin. One driver will go home when round one of qualifying is completed.

Cody Coughlin will have his turn behind the wheel of the No. 54 Toyota Tundra for Kyle Busch Motorsports on Saturday. Coughlin is under a development deal under the Joe Gibbs Racing banner. The 19-year old has one career Camping World Truck Series start at Kentucky with Bill Venturini. Coughlin finished that race with a top 20 finish.

Erik Jones will be racing in new territory on Saturday in the Camping World Truck Series. The Michigan native will make his first career start at the two-mile oval since signing full-time with Kyle Busch Motorsports at the beginning of the year. Jones will come into the weekend with one victory, seven top five and nine top 10 finishes in 2015.

Tyler Reddick continues to lead the Camping World Truck Series point’s standings by eleven points over Matt Crafton. Erik Jones will come into his home track sitting in the third position by a margin of 16 points. Johnny Sauter and Cameron Hayley round out the top five.

Fans can watch live coverage from Michigan on FOX Sports 1 at 1:00 p.m. ET. on Saturday. The Motor Racing Network will carry the live radio coverage of the race.
