J.J. Haley to Make Truck Debut at Bristol with Braun Motorsports

Newly-formed Braun Motorsports is proud to announce that the organization will make its NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut later this month at Bristol Motor Speedway. Driver J.J. Haley will be behind the wheel of Braun Motorsports’ No. 32 truck for the UNOH 200 presented by Zloop on Wednesday, August 19.

Haley gears up to make his first-career NCWTS start for Braun Motorsports at Bristol, marking the second time the Indiana native will race on the World’s Fastest Half Mile. Earlier this season, the 16-year-old competed in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East event, bringing home a top-10 finish. Throughout 2015, Haley has competed full-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East with HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks, bringing home four top-five and seven top-10 finishes through ten races. Haley has also competed in two ARCA events with Braun Motorsports to date this season, along with select TransAM races for the organization.

Great Clips will serve as the sponsor for Haley’s No. 32 truck in his debut at Bristol Motor Speedway. Great Clips has a long history with team owner Todd Braun that dates back to Todd’s days as the owner of Braun Racing, an organization that competed in the NASCAR XFINITY Series from 2003 to 2010.

“It’s an honor to have Great Clips come aboard to help me make my first-career Truck series start,” said driver J.J. Haley. “They have had a long history with [team owner] Todd Braun, dating back to the Braun Racing days. It’s cool to see that relationship continue with my Truck debut. Hopefully, we can put forth a solid showing and bring home a good finish our first time out.”

“I’m looking forward to seeing J.J. behind the wheel of a Truck at Bristol later this month,” added team owner Todd Braun. “He has shown throughout his career,  especially in 2015, that he has the speed it takes to compete at every level he has participated in. It’s also great to have Great Clips come on board to help us in our Truck efforts this season. I’ve had a long relationship with the company  throughout my career in racing, and I look forward to continued success down the road.”

The organization intends to run the No. 32 Great Clips Chevrolet in two additional NCWTS events this season. Haley will be back at the wheel for the team at Martinsville Speedway in October and Phoenix International Raceway in November.
