Chad Boat to Make NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Debut at Eldora Speedway

Editors Note: Mason Mingus will return to the No 15 the following week at Pocono Raceway in the Camping World Truck Series.

Billy Boat Motorsports (BBM) driver Chad Boat will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut in the No. 15 CorvetteParts.net Chevrolet Silverado on Wednesday, July 22 at Eldora Speedway.

After starting his open-wheel racing career at the young age of five, Boat will add a NCWTS race to his 17-career NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) starts.  The now 23-year-old’s resume includes over 100-career wins on dirt, including the United States Auto Club (USAC) Rookie-of-the-Year titles in both the midget and sprint car divisions.  Boat also holds the record as the youngest driver in the history of USAC racing to win a dirt track sprint car race.

“I’m thankful for the incredible opportunity CorevtteParts.net and BBM has given me to be able to get back behind the wheel on dirt next week,” said Boat. “Growing up racing midgets and sprint cars, Eldora will always be one of those tracks that have a certain type of nostalgia when racing there.  For that reason, making my first NCWTS start here is really special.  I look forward to taking my dirt track experience and the progress that BBM has been making on the track to capture a solid finish in the No. 15 CorvetteParts.net Chevrolet Silverado.”

CorvetteParts.net, the leader in Corvette parts and accessories, has been a primary partner for BBM since 2014 and will make its first appearance in the NCWTS on the No. 15 with Boat at Eldora Speedway.

“CorvetteParts.net is thrilled to be part of Boat’s NCWTS debut and his return to dirt track racing at such an elite level. We are confident that his experience on dirt and the recent strides of Billy Boat Motorsports will result in a strong run at Eldora,” said Tom and TJ Keen, owners of CorvetteParts.net.

The No. 15 will also have support from Pristine Auction, a consignment based auction house specializing in autographed memorabilia, sports cards, and collectibles that ensures 100% authenticity, as well as Ohio 811, the National “Call 811” underground damage prevention initiative that encourages do-it-yourselfers, landscapers and contractors to “Call Before You Dig” to avoid unintentionally hitting utility lines while working on digging projects.
