NASCAR Camping World Truck Series: American Ethanol 200 Preview

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads into the Iowa Speedway for the seventh annual American Ethanol 200 presented by Enogen. The upcoming race on Friday night will mark the series ninth race of the year.

There are 32 drivers and teams featured on the entry list, meaning no one will go home after qualifying on Friday afternoon.

Erik Jones continues to dominate the Sunoco Rookie of the Year standings, earning 110 total points throughout the first eight races. Cameron Hayley enters Iowa 28 points behind Jones in second. Daniel Hemric, Spencer Gallagher and Justin Boston round out the top five.

Matt Crafton comes into the Iowa Speedway with the series points lead. Crafton, who is searching for his third consecutive championship in the series, has a 12-point gap between Tyler Reddick in second. Johnny Sauter, a teammate to Crafton, sits 33 points back in third. Erik Jones, who has yet captured a victory this season, rounds out the fourth spot.

The No. 88 Toyota Tundra driven by Crafton also leads the owner point’s standings with a 12-point advantage over the No. 19 Brad Keselowski Racing Ford. The No. 98 team rounds out the top three.
