Carolina Nut Co. to adorn Jesse Little’s Toyota Tundra in Dover

The Carolina Nut Co., which specializes in unique flavored nuts, flavored peanuts, spicy nuts and candied nuts, will adorn the No. 97 Toyota Tundra of NASCAR Next driver, Jesse Little in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut at Dover (Del.) International Speedway in Friday’s Lucas Oil 200.

Donning the Henderson, N.C. based Carolina Nut Co. brand, which offers consumers 12 unique flavors of peanuts to choose from, including Bacon Ranch, Dill Pickle, and Butter Toffee, the 18-year-old, second generation driver, is anxious to get behind the wheel of his Toyota Tundra for NCWTS practice on Thursday, May 28 live on FOX Sports 1 at 2 p.m. ET.

“I’m extremely honored and fortunate to have The Carolina Nut Co. colors on my Toyota Tundra for my NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Dover,” said Little. “This opportunity has been a long time coming for me, my family, and all those that have supported me along the way. Our goal is to put together a solid finish and represent The Carolina Nut Co. in a first-class manner.”

With three career starts at the proverbial Monster Mile in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, including a pole in 2014 and a fifth-place finish in 2013, Little has amassed one win, 11 top-five and 19 top-10 finishes across 39 career starts in the series since 2012. In 2013, the Sherrills Ford, N.C. native earned the prestigious Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors and was one of 12 drivers named to the 2014-2015 NASCAR Next class, a program highlighting rising racing prospects.

“Dover has always been at the top of my list when it comes to race tracks,” continued Little. “I feel that tough and demanding tracks, like Dover, suit my driving style best. I was able to grab the pole and lead quite a bit of the K&N race there last fall, and I will definitely put that knowledge to use this weekend.”

In addition to making his NCWTS debut at Dover on Friday, Little is scheduled to compete in the series at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta (July 9), Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth (November 6), and the season finale at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway (November 20).
