Korbin Forrister Ready to Rebound in Charlotte

Kansas was not as kind to Korbin Forrister and the No. 08 Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery Chevrolet Silverado as the SS Green Light Racing team had wished as a chain reaction incident on a restart and subsequent mechanical failure cut short his run in the Toyota Tundra 250. This week the team will bring a new 2015 Silverado to the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 in hopes to bring hope a solid finish as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series kicks off the exciting NASCAR All Star Weekend.

“Things got bunched up on a restart last week and got some damage so we decided to bring a new Silverado to this weeks race in Charlotte. The guys have been working long hours just to get it ready and we’re going to just make it. It’s a former Tuner Motorsports truck so I know it’s a good truck and we’ll have a good motor this weekend. I’m excited to see what we can do,” said Forrister.

Halcyon Rehabilitation will partner with Forrister this weekend joining the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery in supporting the SS Green Light Racing Team. The White Plains, NY based company provides a wide range of contract therapy solutions to long-term care facilities throughout the Southeastern United States. “We’re going to have Halcyon Rehabilitation on the hood this week, I want to thank them for coming on board.”

Being located just miles from many of the NCWTS teams race shops, Charlotte is always a favorite for the crew members and their families, “It will be good for the crew to be at home for the race this week, especially with all the hard work they have done to get this truck ready.”

“We are looking forward to a good run to show our supporters what we are capable of doing,” concluded Forrister. “The next couple races are important to where we are trying to get to for the rest of the year. I want to do our best for Tilted Kilt and Halcyon Rehabilitation.”

The North Carolina Education Lottery 200 is the 340th consecutive NCWTS start for the SS Green Light Racing team, a streak that dates back to 2001.
