MB Motorsports and its marketing partner SealWrap are supporting Operation Homefront, which supports military families in need, at the Atlanta, Chicagoland, Talladega and Texas Camping World Truck Series races. Race fans can join the #63 SealWrap / MB Motorsports team in showing their support for military families by texting HERO to 50555 to make a $5 donation. SealWrap will match the funds raised by the texting campaign up to $10,000.
“Unfortunately, the sacrifices military families make so that their loved ones can provide us our freedom are greatly overlooked.” says Jeff Welch of SealWrap. “We want to let these families know that we deeply appreciate all that they do so that we can enjoy the American way of life. Operation Homefront is great organization and I know race fans will join us in expressing their support.”
Operation Homefront provides direct services to alleviate a military family’s or individual’s actual/complete emergency financial burden, as well as counseling and/or recovery support. Emergency financial assistance is in the form of checks paid directly to mortgage lenders, auto mechanics, contractors, hospitals, doctors, dentists and other providers. Other emergency funding assistance, which an applicant receives within 24 to 72 hours, includes the following financial assistance, emergency food, emergency home repairs, critical baby items: formula, food and diapers, home and appliance repair, furniture and household items, local moving assistance, community events, Wounded Warrior transitional family housing and more.
