Cameron Hayley set to make his third track debut of the season at Martinsville

Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Cameron Hayley, will make his third track debut of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season in Saturday’s Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway. The ThorSport Racing driver, who will pilot the No. 13 Cabinets by Hayley Toyota Tundra in the 250-lap event, has seen success this season, leading practices and posting solid qualifying efforts, but the rookie finds himself 15th in points just two races into the 2015 season. With a background racing on short tracks, the Canadian driver hopes to get his season back on track at the first short track on the NCWTS schedule, the half-mile “paperclip” of Martinsville Speedway.

Sounding off – Cameron Hayley:

“Short track racing is my background; what I grew up doing. Martinsville is more of a ‘racer’s race track,’ and for that I can’t wait to get there this weekend. You have to stay up on the wheel, be aggressive and race the race track. We have plenty of practice on Friday for me to get accustomed to the ‘paperclip,’ my crew chief has seen quite a bit of success there, and I have two teammates that have won there. Needless to say, I have plenty of knowledge and experience within the ThorSport Racing family to feed off of this weekend.”
