Buescher Foundation Awards First Quarter Grants to Six Families

The Buescher Foundation is pleased to announce the first round of grants awarded to six deserving families.  The Buescher Foundation, which was officially announced at Texas Motor Speedway on November 1, 2014, is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing support and resources to families going through the domestic adoption process.  Having gone through the adoption process and witnessing the struggles that come with adopting, the Texas couple knew that the Buescher Foundation was their calling. With over 30 applications received, the Board of Directors awarded over nine thousand dollars to the respective families. The deserving families selected hail from, Idaho, Nebraska, North Dakota, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

“We really feel overwhelmed by the support that the [Buescher] Foundation has received, not only from the NASCAR community but from the general public. It was a very tough decision to narrow down from over 30 applications to just six, but we are overjoyed with the interest we’ve received in just our first quarter of existence. It’s truly a dream come true to be able to provide financial support to families that are looking to adopt. All this wouldn’t have been possible without help from the Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE), Great Clips, Charlotte Checkers and the numerous private donors. We are looking forward to receiving and reviewing the second round of applications and continuing to make a difference in people’s lives,” said James and Kris Buescher collectively.

The Buescher Foundation will award grants on a quarterly basis to qualifying families looking to adopt domestically. The deadline to receive the second round of applications is May 1. To learn more about the Buescher Foundation, please visit, www.TheBuescherFoundation.org.
