Boston Combines Speed and Sound at Atlanta

Justin Boston is eager to put Daytona in the rear-view mirror and get back on track at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway this weekend in his No. 54 Lucy Angel Tundra. After getting caught up in a multi-truck accident on lap 14 in the season opener, the 25-year-old rookie contender has his sights set on a strong run at Atlanta.

KBM drivers have collected three top-five finishes across five starts at Atlanta resulting in an average finish of 8.2. The Georgia track is one of just four tracks on the 2015 schedule where the organization has yet to earn a victory. Team owner-driver Kyle Busch came home in the runner-up position in both the 2010 and 2012 events, while his second starting position for the 2010 race is also a team best.

Although this will be his first start at Atlanta in any series, Boston was able to participate in a one-day test at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway earlier this month in the Tundra the KBM team has prepared as a backup for this weekend. He and the team are confident much of the data they gathered at the test will apply to Atlanta as well, and Boston was able to log some valuable seat time in a truck at an intermediate track.

Riding along with Boston this weekend, country music band Lucy Angel will be featured on his No. 54 Toyota Tundra.  Lucy Angel is an American country music family trio consisting of mother Kate Anderton and her two daughters, Lindsay and Emily. They released their debut self-titled album in January, and are currently starring in a docu-series entitled “Discovering Lucy Angel,” which premiered on AXS TV in January.

“Discovering Lucy Angel” follows the mother-daughter trio Lucy Angel and the rest of their family, the Andertons, as they work to launch their music career in Nashville. This 13-episode, country music-themed docu-series captures the ups and downs of the family’s lives as they make a name for themselves in country music. Follow the endearing Andertons while out on tour and in their family home in Franklin, Tenn., every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT only on AXS TV.
