MAKE Motorsports Expands Operations in 2015 Season

MAKE Motorsports announced today the addition of a second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team to its 2015 lineup.  MAKE Motorsports will field the No. 50 and No. 1 Chevrolet Silverados with plans to run both trucks full time.

“We are very grateful for the opportunities we have received to help expand our team,” said co-owner of MAKE Motorsports Tracy Lowe. “We are gaining great partners with Burnie and BUBBA Burger, which compliment a family team like ours. We are truly blessed to be able to roll into Daytona with two trucks that have MAKE on the side.”

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series newcomer Cody Ware will pilot the No. 50 Chevrolet Silverado full time with primary sponsor Burnie beginning at Daytona International Speedway. The No. 1 Eagle Convenience Stores Chevrolet will be driven by Donnie Neuenberger in the season opener with multiple drivers scheduled in 2015.

A third-generation driver, Ware competed in the TUDOR United Sports Car Championship Series in 2014, collecting two wins and receiving Rookie of the Year honors in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo class. Ware also made four starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series with a career-best finish of 15th at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. In October, he made his NASCAR Camping World Truck series debut at Talladega Superspeedway.

“I’m excited to be teaming up with MAKE Motorsports for the 2015 season,” said Ware. “I’m looking forward to working with Mark [Beaver], Tracy [Lowe], and everyone at MAKE, especially our new sponsors, Burnie and BUBBA Burger. I believe that this partnership will benefit everyone over the course of the season.”

Burnie, the new all wood, self-burning grill, will be the primary sponsor on the No. 50 Chevrolet Silverado this season. Since Burnie officially launched in January 2015, its sponsorship with MAKE Motorsports marks the first opportunity to strategically partner with a like-minded organization to reach camping enthusiasts.

“This is a perfect partnership to showcase our commitment to outdoor enthusiasts,” said Carl Spadaro, Director of Fire at Burnie. “Grilling is a great social activity that gathers a crowd and keeps the party going, whether at a tailgate or out on the open road. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and MAKE Motorsports presented an opportunity we couldn’t pass up to reach this audience.”

The No .1 Chevrolet Silverado will have several drivers at the helm in 2015, beginning with Donnie Neuenberger at Daytona International Speedway. Neuenberger has made 23 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, including five starts at Daytona. The Primary Sponsor on the No.1 will be Eagle Convenience Stores with Lilly trucking and Bubba Burger as associates.

MAKE Motorsports will sport the following associates on both trucks: BUBBA Burger, AKL Insurance Group, Elite Holdings, Lilly Trucking of Virginia, and WIX Filters.
