Jordan Anderson to MAKE Truck Debut

There will be a new face walking around the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) garage this week in Phoenix looking to learn the ropes. After competing in select NASCAR K&N Pro Series, USAR Pro Cup, and Super Late Model races over the past several years – South Carolina driver Jordan Anderson will be making his debut into the NCWTS Friday night, under the lights, at the Phoenix International Raceway during the Lucas Oil 150, while driving for Make Motorsports in their #50 Dedicated To Linemen truck.

Anderson, who last raced at Richmond International Raceway earlier this year, is a recent college graduate with a business degree, and entrepreneur, has worked tirelessly for just this chance. “It’s such a humbling experience to have an opportunity like this one come about,” said Jordan. “After all the years, and races run, dedicated to making this dream a reality, it was a blessing to put together this partnership with Mark and Tracy from MAKE Motorsports. I’m thankful to have veteran MAKE driver TJ Bell coaching me this weekend as well, knowing his experience will be a tremendous help. The timing was perfect, and I’m definitely humbled by their confidence in me to drive the truck this weekend. My goal is to gain as much knowledge as I can about the series, trucks, other drivers, and team as we work into the off-season preparing sponsorship for next year.”

Anderson completed 40 laps in practice picking up speed and confidence with each lap. TJ Bell was on the radio guiding and coaching him through the corners. “Jordan did very well for his first time in the truck. He had great car control and once he gets some laps under him the confidence will be there. He is a great racer and great kid, He will go far” stated Mark Beaver of MAKE.

Look to catch all the action this Friday on Fox Sports 1 and MRN Radio at 8:30 PM ET as Jordan takes the green flag for his first ever NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.
