Ryan Lynch Behind Wheel of SS Green Light Racing No. 07 at Texas

A year after achieving the pinnacle start of his career at Texas Motor Speedway, Ryan Lynch will find himself back in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver seat at the storied speedway once again, this time piloting the No. 07 IDLifeRacing.com/BlankHood.com Chevrolet for SS Green Light Racing.

“I’m so excited that I have the opportunity to race at my home track again,” says Lynch. “To know that I get to go back to Texas at all is just amazing, but I feel like this year is an opportunity for me to really prove I can race at this level. I’m confident that Bobby Dotter and his crew have put together a great truck for me, and I cannot thank him and my long time Super Truck crew chief JR Wiest enough for putting this deal together for me.”

Lynch looks not only to top his career best finish (24th at Kentucky in 2013) but also hopes to take advantage of last year’s experience. “This will be the first opportunity I’ve had to go back to a track in the NASCAR series. This time I know the techniques and feel of the track that I had to spend an entire race learning last year. This time I can go all in from the drop of the green – and that is a great feeling.”

Texas Motor Speedway is a 1.5-mile oval just outside of Ft. Worth and is the track that Lynch calls home. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to the infamously fast speedway on Halloween night, October 31st for the WinStar World Casino and Resort 350 to kick off an entire weekend of NASCAR action that includes the Nationwide Series on Saturday and Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup AAA Texas 500.

The WinStar World Casino and Resort 350 is the 333rd consecutive NCWTS start for the SS Green Light Racing team, a streak that dates back to 2001. Many of the sports top drivers have roots in the NASCAR Truck Series, which is considered to be the proving grounds for any racer looking to become a star amongst the NASCAR ranks.
