MB MOTORSPORTS: Team Continues To Raise Awareness, Money For Eagle Rock Camp

MB Motorsports heads to Bristol Motor Speedway focused on a good run and a chance to help raise awareness and money for Eagle Rock Camp, a faith-based, holistic sports camp where military families learn to re-connect and re-integrate.

Justin Jennings will once again drive the #63 Chevy Silverado carrying the Eagle Rock Camp logo with support from Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool, LG Seeds and Excel Bottling’s Ski Soda.

“We started working with Eagle Rock Camp last year in Daytona,” says team owner Mike Mittler. “They do a lot to help military families dealing with the after-effects of war. They find themselves in a unique position. A very generous benefactor has offered to donate a “turn-key” facility located in Emmett County, Michigan. This property will give Eagle Rock Camp everything they need for a permanent home to help our veterans and their families. In order to secure the donation, Eagle Rock Camp needs to raise the monies to properly maintain the property for two years, which means they need to raise $133,000 by September 1st. We don’t have much time to help them meet their goal. Race fans can donate by visiting eaglerockcamp.org or their page on crowdrise.com.“

Adds Jennings, “The donor of the property is a veteran and has made the following requests- they have to have a caretaker live on premises, they have to develop and provide a two year sustainable budget and the property must be used solely to meet the mission of Eagle Rock Camp by serving veterans and active military with their families.”

Eagle Rock Camp founder, Lynn Miller, says this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. “This property features acres of gently rolling farm land that is partially wooded. This turn-key facility allows us to immediately start hosting retreats for our military families. The donation includes all furniture, snowmobiles, ATV’s and more. The value of this amazing donation is approximately two million dollars.”
